"Capri! Get back here! Honestly, what is it with you playing chase with me all the time?" Amity pants, running after the slippery, tangerine cat. Makoto laughs and trails behind her. The warm spring air blows and fills the park with momentary whirlwinds of dancing cherry blossom petals. Pink is splattered everywhere because of it. It's been so long since we got to hang out together like this... Makoto recalls wistfully all of their adventures. Come to think of it, this was the same way we met for the first time. Amity chasing Capri and me in a tree. ...Man I was such a dork. I'm surprised Amity talked to me after I fell--" Ami finally captures her pet and scoops her up, "Gottcha'! Now stay put you scamp!" A sudden gust of wind picks up again and carries the sweet aroma of the blossoming trees just as Amity looks over her shoulder at Makoto. Makoto suddenly feels like he ran into an invisible brick wall as his heart stops mid-beat and his throat closes up. His last thought now completely forgotten as he takes in the immediate view. I...fell.."

So.. This started out as a doodle and kinda exploded into a colored shojo page attempt. Hm. odd how that goes. Anyways, these two cuties _{oh and Makoto} are Amity and her kitty Caprika. They're from my OC story "Cherry Blossoms." Unfortunately, I don't have much up on them right now because of massive editing I'm doing but I wanted to post this because I desperately needed updated art on all of them. This is probably sometime later in the series where Amity's hair grown out a bit. I'm really liking how they turned out but I think they look too old to be 16 D: so uh.. yeah! later in the series! They...aged! yeah! we'll go with that.
